Government of Sierra Leone, Ministry of Health, National Public Health Agency
About Us
The National Public Health Agency, which is mandated to provide public health emergency preparedness leadership, through its Emergency Management and Response Programme, steered the development of these emergency management surge personnel deployment mechanisms. The Sierra Leone Personnel Deployment Plan provides guidelines on the management and deployment of public health surge personnel during an event to achieve defined emergency management goals and objectives. It is important to note that this plan is not exhaustive and should therefore be read alongside other relevant standard operating procedures, policies, and guidelines relating to public health emergency management for better application.
